Firm Summary

As a Marketing and Events Coordinator at One Day In July, you will work with the in-house marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns in the St. Petersburg area. You will work across multiple marketing channels including print, digital, social media, and TV to help establish One Day In July’s presence in the area.

The ideal candidate for this position is a master of the Adobe Suite, a strong writer, and someone who enjoys planning, executing, and attending community events. This position will work with the advisor team in St. Petersburg to plan and execute events at the office. You will also identify external events that are good opportunities for sponsorships.

In this role, you will:

  • Utilize various Adobe apps to expertly execute graphics that are in line with One Day In July’s brand.
  • Identify local marketing opportunities to promote the St. Petersburg office.
  • Work with local vendors to schedule and purchase marketing campaigns in the region.
  • Write content for marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing and operations teams to open new offices in the surrounding area.
  • Work with the local St. Petersburg advisor team to plan, execute, and promote events on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with the One Day In July compliance team to ensure all advertising and promotional materials follow the SEC marketing rules.
  • Pay close attention to recordkeeping, ensuring all assets are kept organized in the firm’s recordkeeping system.
  • Work with One Day In July’s marketing manager to budget and allocate spend for the Florida market.
  • Analyze results of marketing campaigns and events in the St. Petersburg region.
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to create content for the website relevant to the region.

A strong candidate will:

  • Be a master of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Possess excellent design skills and have the ability to be creative while staying on brand.
  • Be comfortable operating somewhat independently, with remote supervision. You will be in regular contact with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Have excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, Gmail, web browsers. Familiarity with Mac computers is a plus.
  • Be able to take initiative and make decisions that align with the firm’s goals.
  • Be familiar with using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
  • Possess basic photography and photo editing skills.
  • Video creation and editing skills are a plus.
  • Possess an interest in finance.
  • Possess strong writing and communication skills.

Salary

  • $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience.

Hours / Location

  • This job is full time.
  • This job is primarily in-person in Saint Petersburg, FL.
